I was so excited to move to the Link a year ago. I was sold on efficient and luxury living but throughout my stay I have been disappointed again and again. The original office staff was so unhelpful and fulfilling a timely maintenance request seemed to be the impossible. The new office staff does seem to care more but is so understaffed that again, maintenance requests are taking forever to fulfill. One of the three elevators has been out of service for weeks, the parking garage doors frequently break causing burglaries and unwanted guests taking paid for parking spots. I went without hot water for weeks and when my power went out there was no working emergency number. Not having a working emergency number baffles me, how can a company leave the high paying residents without options or support in a time of need. I love this building and the views but it has been one thing after another since I moved in. I love the dog park, the floor to ceiling windows, my fellow residents and the great kitchen. I look forward to seeing what the new property management company does for its residents.
We have been trying to reach this complex for a week now, we stopped by today and the security guard told us they’re appointment only. We told him we called , he said that’s not a good way to reach them and to make an appointment online but there is no where to do that. Really confused this apartment looked great online!
Overall, the place has a lot of good qualities to it, hence the 3 star (good) review. However, I feel obligated to share some of the downsides of living here, namely lack of timely repairs to the property. The swimming pool temperature-control doesn't work. The garage door has stopped working multiple times leading to repeated burglary issues. I was hopeful that new ownership would rectify this consistent problem, but the new owners don't seem to want to prioritize repairs either, as one of the three elevators has been out of order for weeks, resulting in agonizing waits, especially during busy times and weekends when many people and their guests are making repeated trips up to the 30th floor. A couple of weeks ago the elevators *all* stopped working, resulting in somebody getting stuck in one and everybody else having to use the stairs (remember, it's 30 floors high and the stairwell is HOT). It is completely unacceptable for the repairs to be as deficient as they are.
I do want to say that the staff/ maintenance/ security people are pretty great and this review has nothing to do with them as most of these issues are out of their control. I have only been here 9 Months but there are repeated issues that i am trying to break my lease over, and for the price i pay it is not worth it. It is a cheap build with a “luxury” label slapped over it. In the first 2 months of living here- my a/c, dishwasher, washing machine and door to washer and dryer, all broke. Fast forward to month 9,my sink literally detached itself from the rim and fell down.. and sometimes half of my power randomly goes out as there is issues with the breakers that randomly switch on and off. My ac has broken about 3 times. The garage door has been broken too many times to count while living here, as of now it’s been broken for a couple months....yet they had the funding to redecorate the lobby? Lol. Because of the 24/7 open garage doors, random people park in the garage and many times in my spot, and too closely in the spot next to mine. Many things have been stolen and i have friends who live here whose bikes and items out of their car have been stolen as well. For thousands of dollars a month i expected so much more. I want to repeat that the staff tries their best, i mean they didn’t build this place so it isn’t their fault. They just know how to sell the dream. The pool/rooftop is the only luxury thing about this place. Please do not settle here, there are so many better places to live downtown. This is 100% not worth it at all.
Link PHX is the best apartment complex in Arizona hands down. From the residents, managers everyone is super nice here. The managers & employees really care about the residents here. They honestly treat us like family. I literally have no complaints. Link PHX views of downtown Phoenix are absolutely breath taking. It's really clean here & Anytime I had any problems in my apartment, they make sure that it's fixed same day! Also, all the amenities here are open 24/7 which is a PLUS! I wish that I could give Link PHX more stars because they honestly deserve it. 5/5
